In the second part, the gāthās, there are twenty-nine verses, divided into five: First, two verses praise the essence of the preceding practice. Second, from 'the bodhisattva contemplates' below, four verses dedicated to sentient beings and to bodhi. Third, from 'by means of this' below, two verses of dedication to the limit of reality (bhūtakoṭi). Fourth, from 'deep delight' below, sixteen verses on the fully matured, unhindered, autonomous dedication; regarding the hundred gateways above, they are summarized and not exhausted, and also not in sequence. Therein, the first seven properly praise the preceding fully matured dedication identical to suchness; the latter nine concurrently praise the subsequent fruits of the stage, which can be seen upon reflection. Fifth, the last five verses praise the virtues accomplished by dedication, which can be understood.
