Second, concerning the assemblies where bodhisattvas seek the Dharma: as with the youth Sudhana, at the great stūpa shrine in the Śāla grove east of Dhanyākara, Mañjuśrī first expounded the Dharma in an assembly for the great congregation and the youth Sudhana. Proceeding in this order through to the very end, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, at the Vajragarbha bodhimanda, manifested the Dharma of the cloud of dharmadhātu bodies for the congregation, Sudhana, and the others, making the final fifty-fourth assembly; thus, including the previous ones, there are sixty-two assemblies in total. This is stated according to a single direction. If one were to link them completely through the worlds of the ten directions, these would then be the various assembly sites [numbering as many as] dust motes upon dust motes, equal to empty space and the dharmadhātu.
