1.33

然此三藏，約其所詮，略有二門：一者剋性則經詮三學、戒唯戒心二學、論唯慧學，如《攝論》說。二約兼正，則三藏之中經正詮定、毘尼詮戒、論詮於慧，兼各通三。

However, regarding what they expound, these three collections briefly have two perspectives: first, strictly in terms of their essential nature, sūtras expound the three trainings, the precepts expound only the two trainings of morality and mind, and the treatises expound only the training of wisdom, as stated in the Mahāyānasaṃgraha. Second, regarding primary and secondary emphasis, within the three collections, sūtras primarily expound samādhi, vinaya expounds morality, and treatises expound wisdom, while secondarily each encompasses all three.
