29.15

五十九設大施會。初施行中，初總標、次「一切」下離過成德。擇薪而爨、濾水而用，不強乞求，名不惱眾生。今多反此，豈成大益？次「開置」下略顯儀式。次「發甚難得」下顯施所依心成波羅蜜。

Fifty-nine: Arranging a great gathering of giving. In the first part, the practice of giving: first, a general indication; next, from 'all' onward, leaving faults and accomplishing virtues. Selecting firewood before cooking, filtering water before using it, and not begging forcibly is called not tormenting sentient beings. Nowadays many do the contrary—how could this achieve great benefit? Next, from 'opening and establishing' onward briefly reveals the ceremonial procedure. Next, from 'generating [the thought that it is] exceedingly hard to obtain' onward reveals that the mind upon which the giving relies accomplishes the pāramitā.
