Third, in the section of repeated verses, the twenty-two verses are divided into three parts: first, eighteen and a half verses versify the practices of the station; next, two and a half verses versify the fruits of the station; and finally, one verse concludes the scope of the exposition. Now, regarding the first, versifying the seven parts above constitutes seven sections: first, one and a half verses versify the section on collecting and producing the stage. Second, one and a half verses versify the section on purified forbearance. Third, there are seven verses versifying the section on attaining superior practice; within this are two: the first two versify the superiority of profound practice, and the last five versify the superiority of initiation. In it, saying "solely through profound, unobstructed wisdom" is absent from the prose; hence we know that if one merely contemplates the nature of dharmas, it is identical to the noumenon and phenomena of the two vehicles, whereas non-obstruction among phenomena is the study of the bodhisattva. The Jin translation of the sūtra has an entire verse that says: "Only by attaining unobstructed, / profound and subtle wisdom, / penetrating the three periods of time, / is one called a Buddha." Furthermore, this single line can also generally versify the other admonitions. Fourth, there are six verses versifying the section on purifying buddha-lands; within this are three: the first two are the vessel world, the next three are the sentient-being world, and the last one is the wisdom-sambodhi world. Fifth, there is half a verse versifying the ten sovereignties. The Jin translation of the sūtra says: "Able to attain the ten kinds / of wondrous, great sovereign wisdom." Sixth, one verse versifies the section on great superiority. Seventh, one verse versifies the section on explaining names. *Miji* (Guhyaka) was translated by the ancients as "mighty warrior" (*lìshì*). The remaining text is understandable.
