Second, distinguishing practices and stations also has four meanings: First, binding the practices to form stations, dividing them into six divisions. Second, all being subsumed under stations, because the practices are all practices within the stations. Third, all belonging to practice, because the essence of Samantabhadra's practice does not rely on stations. Fourth, a single practice pervades the six stations, being cultivated throughout each and every station. Only with such non-obstruction does it become the practice of Samantabhadra. However, the text directly manifests the latter two, because in taking up practices to form stations, the stations are nominal while the practices are real. Therefore questions and answers are presented together without dividing into six rounds; the intent lies right here.
