第八戒者，欲成就眾生，須自止惡行善。十中若忘菩提心，乃至諸根犯境，皆名破菩薩戒。故上云「堅固大悲心則不破」也。此十三聚，如應思之。

Eighth, precepts: if one wishes to mature sentient beings, one must personally desist from evil and practice good. Among the ten, if one forgets the bodhicitta, up to one's sense faculties violating sense objects, all are called breaking the bodhisattva precepts. Therefore, it was stated above: 'If the mind of great compassion is firm, they are not broken.' These ten [are categorized into] the three collections [of precepts], which should be reflected upon accordingly.
