Fifth, the ten kinds of powers clarify the practice in the stage of endowment with expedient means. According to the Sanskrit text, this is named accumulation (*saṃbhāra*), which has the sense of fully possessing expedient means. Passage 95 below is precisely the ten powers. In the prior [explanation of the] ten stages, it only said that all practices cultivated are for the sake of sentient beings, without knowing what was cultivated; here, it reveals the practices cultivated. Furthermore, 'entering' means thoroughly penetrating, also encompassing its superior progress of understanding sentient beings, and so forth. Therein, the first six are powers of understanding dharmas; the remaining four are powers of seeking above.
