51.37

第四證知一門，明生貴住中行。即彼自分行，由前了達故，能證知證故，於聖教中生。十中，初三總知一切法、次五廣前知眾生、九菩薩行願即前業行中攝、後一即知涅槃對生死故。其勝進但了佛法，無別行相，故略不明。

Fourth, the single gate of 'realizing and knowing' clarifies the practice in the stage of noble birth. This is that station's own practice: due to prior thorough penetration, one is able to realize and know, and through realizing, one is born into the holy teaching. Among the ten, the first three generally know all dharmas; the next five expand upon the prior knowing of sentient beings; the ninth, the bodhisattva's practices and vows, is subsumed within the prior karmic practices; the final one is knowing nirvāṇa in contrast to saṃsāra. Its superior progress merely penetrates the Buddha Dharma without distinct practical characteristics, and so is omitted and not clarified.
