53.3

第二「十種修」下三門，明所起厭行。即分為三：此門正顯修行，前八修因、後二修果；第二成就佛法，明修成勝緣，依託此十能成就故；第三十種退失，明修行離過，別舉十過總令遠離。文並可知。

Under the second [heading], the three sections beginning with "ten kinds of cultivation" explain the practices of revulsion that are given rise to. This is divided into three parts: this section directly demonstrates cultivation, the first eight cultivating the causes and the latter two cultivating the fruits; the second, accomplishing the Buddhadharmas, explains the supreme conditions under which cultivation is completed, because relying on these ten, accomplishment is attained; the third, the ten kinds of regressions, explains cultivation free from faults, listing ten separate faults so that all of them may be avoided. The text [of these] can be understood accordingly.
