Sixth is the pariṇāmanā of entering into all equanimous kuśala-mūla. The good friend named Veṣṭhila is translated here as "wrapped up," meaning enveloping and gathering, because the stūpa gathers and envelops all buddhas. Or it is said to mean "gathering and entering," gathering all kuśala-mūla to enter into equanimity. The city named Good Deliverance is because there is not a single kuśala-mūla that is not delivered to the ultimate. Constantly making offerings to the Buddha's stūpa is because it is foremost among kuśala-mūla. It is not yet clear for what reason he exclusively made offerings to this stūpa. Some say: because the inside of the stūpa was empty and contained a sandalwood throne, it was for the sake of universally making offerings to inexhaustible buddhas. This is also one reason. In the text, first is proceeding to seek in accordance with instructions, which lacks the recollection of the Dharma.
