第二「百萬地」下見敬請法。於中五：初友見稱讚。既云友見，則已含見友。二「時安住」下嚴處攝生以顯勝德。三「時安住告」下許示昔善，引其問端。四「爾時」下設敬陳請。五「以足按」下正示昔因。

Second, from "one million earth [spirits]" downward, is seeing, paying homage, and requesting the Dharma. In this there are five points: first, the friend sees and praises him. Since it says the friend sees, it already implies seeing the friend. Second, from "at that time, Sthāvarā" downward, he adorns the place and gathers sentient beings to reveal supreme virtues. Third, from "at that time, Sthāvarā told" downward, he promises to show past good, introducing the starting point of the inquiry. Fourth, from "at that time" downward, he establishes homage and presents his request. Fifth, from "pressing with his foot" downward, he directly shows the past cause.
