6.11

六令觀等者，悲障解脫也。眾生癡故造業，造業故受苦，闇故不見未來，不見未來即顛墮，故大怖之極莫越愚癡。令觀本寂則癡相本空，尚不造善，豈當為惡？

Sixth, "causing them to contemplate, etc.," is the liberation from the obstruction of sorrow (karuṇā). Sentient beings create karma out of delusion; creating karma, they experience suffering; being in darkness, they do not see the future; not seeing the future, they fall into inversion. Thus, of all great terrors, none surpasses delusion. Causing them to contemplate primordial quiescence, the marks of delusion are fundamentally empty; when they do not even create good, how could they commit evil?
