五次第者，謂由前前引發後後，及由後後持淨前前。又前前麁、後後細，易難修習次第如是。

5. Their sequence: the preceding ones induce the succeeding ones, and the succeeding ones maintain and purify the preceding ones. Moreover, the preceding ones are coarse while the succeeding ones are subtle; the sequence of ease and difficulty in cultivation is likewise.
