8.23

六相攝者，此十一一皆攝一切波羅蜜多，互相順故。《般若論》云「檀義攝於六，資生無畏法」等。《智論》云「有未莊嚴波羅蜜即不攝者，有已莊嚴波羅蜜即相攝者。」今此經文必具攝十，若但說六，六攝後四；若開為十，第六唯攝無分別智，後四皆是後得智攝。

6. Mutual subsumption: each one of these ten subsumes all pāramitās, because they mutually accord with one another. The Prajñā-śāstra states: 'The meaning of dāna subsumes the six: material goods, fearlessness, Dharma,' and so on. The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states: 'There are unadorned pāramitās that do not subsume [the others], and there are already adorned pāramitās that mutually subsume [the others].' In this sūtra text, they necessarily subsume all ten completely: if only six are spoken of, the six subsume the latter four; if differentiated into ten, the sixth only subsumes non-conceptual wisdom, while the latter four are all subsumed under subsequently attained wisdom.
