The fifth section, the adornment of the kṣetras, clarifies pure kṣetras only. Therein, either jewels serve as adornment, or persons, or dharmas, or preaching the Dharma and practicing cultivation, manifestations, and interpenetration all serve as adornments of the kṣetra, because persons and dharmas are jewels. Furthermore, because of causes such as preaching the Dharma, the fruit of adornment is attained; the cause is named after the fruit as adornment. The ten verses are divided into two: the first one generally reveals the adornment of the kṣetras, and the latter nine separately praise the text above. Therein, the first verse praises the initial wondrous clouds. The next verse praises the second, bodhisattvas' virtues, and the fourth, the ocean of bodhisattvas' vows. The next verse turns back to praise speaking of sentient beings' karmic retributions. The latter six verses praise the subsequent six matters in sequence.
