Seventh, from "The bodhisattva like this..." downward answers the question about never abandoning the pāramitās. In this there are two: first, concluding the preceding and introducing what follows, meaning that right at the time of expounding the Dharma, one is already endowed with the ten perfections; even if one cultivates them for oneself, it is also for the benefit of others, because of entirely great compassion and understanding equality. Extending to the fruit of Buddhahood, they are therefore all called the path. Second, from "At that time..." downward directly shows the marks of not abandoning the perfections. The ten perfections form ten sections; each first distinguishes the marks, and afterward, from "This is then..." downward concludes with the name. In distinguishing the marks for the first four, first the marks of giving and so on are distinguished, and afterward non-attachment and so forth distinguish the marks of the pāramitā.
