Second, the virtue of an extraordinary direct retribution. The initial clause concludes the preceding and embraces giving rise to what follows. From 'having a great retinue' downward, seven kinds of fruitions are fully possessed: 1. the fruition of noble clan; 2. being free from all faults, neither haughty nor arrogant, speaking words that are sincere so that beholders never tire of him, possessing loving-kindness and wisdom so that people trust and follow him, which is the fruition of trustworthy speech; 3. from 'merit and virtue' downward reveals the fruition of great physical form; 4. obtaining the firm body of a Nārāyaṇa reveals the fruition of lifespan; 5. 'achieving great power' and so forth reveals the fruition of great power; 6. obtaining pure karma, which means obtaining great mindfulness and wisdom, fulfilling dhāraṇī, never forgetting past matters and perceiving things before they sprout, through which the aforementioned fame resounds throughout the world, which is the fruition of renown; 7. being free from all karmic obstacles reveals the fruition of human nature, because having obstacles of karmic retribution means not being a true man. Combining the above wealth and station, fully possessing the eight maturative fruits is superior birth; such sovereignty is birth with great power.
