Third are the repeated verses. The twenty-one verses are divided into three: first, seventeen and a half verses versify the practice of the station; next, two and a half verses versify the result of the station; finally, one verse praises its excellence and concludes the exposition. The former is divided into five: first, four verses versify the counteragents to the delight in non-arising practice. Next, two verses versify the immeasurability in the counteragents to those obstacles, briefly omitting effortless practice. Third, there are three verses versifying the uninterrupted twofold practice. Fourth, there are five verses versifying the previously explained superior aspects of the higher stage. The phrase "three disputes are stilled" is explained in terms of the perfection of patience; moreover, having attained the illumination of the Dharma, there are no disputes. Fifth, there are three and a half verses versifying the result of the twofold practice (from here downward, this enters the thirty-eighth fascicle of the sūtra).
