Tenth, the three gates below "dwelling of omniscient knowledge" answer the question on liberation. The first gate clarifies liberation from the hindrance to knowable objects. Wisdom securely rests in phenomena and noumenon, hence it is called dwelling. Because it is free from hindrances, it is able to know everything. Second, the immeasurable inconceivable samādhis clarify liberation from the hindrance to meditative concentration. Because it is free from hindrances, its function is vast and immeasurable, and its essence is deep and inconceivable. Among the ten kinds, each first clarifies being in concentration, and then universally functioning in a single thought. Third, the unobstructed liberations clarify the wisdom of liberation in activity and function. The treatise says: "Bodhisattvas have inconceivable liberation; buddhas have unobstructed liberation. What they do is without obstruction because they are liberated from restraints; therefore, in each dust mote they instantaneously perform subtle functions." If specifically answering the ten questions: first, answering manifestation; second, voice; third, original vow, because the vow to transform is exhaustive; fourth, lands; fifth, wisdom, being able to bestow prophecies upon bodhisattvas; sixth, buddha-body; seventh, lineage, referring to world seeds, which are the seeds of entering the world to transform beings, and should not be the seeds within the ocean of worlds, because lands were already treated previously; eighth, mastery; ninth, unobstructed, because benefiting beings is unobstructed; tenth, liberation, because there is nothing not done. Since each gate answers the ten questions, they encompass and subsume [all]; therefore, it is named inconceivable. However, the text lacks a full concluding summary, seeming as though the sūtra translation were not complete, or perhaps to show that the Buddha's virtues are unending. The Ocean of Marks and so forth still answer the earlier questions.
