Seventh, regarding the elder Ajitasena (Invincible Army), the good friend of illusory-wisdom inexhaustible marks: the name of the teaching is the mark of virtue accomplished, which is inexhaustible. From “Because I have realized...” onwards, he explains the name by means of function. Attaining the inexhaustible treasury means hearing the wondrous dharmas. Furthermore, all mental states and spheres are nothing other than the Buddha-dharma; therefore, whether the Buddha or the Dharma, neither ever has an end. Having seen the Buddha and attained the Dharma without end, he is invincible. The assembly of manifold virtues is metaphorically called an army, and can universally conquer all armies of Māra.
