疏「故此圓教」下，結屬所攝。於中三：初總顯深廣、次「一乘有二」下別釋深義、後通妨。二中，言「同教」者，謂終頓二教雖說一性一相、無二無三，不辯圓融具德、事事無礙，故非別教。而別教中有一性一相、事理無礙，言思斯絕，同彼二教。

Regarding the Commentary's passage from "Therefore, this perfect teaching..." onward: it concludes with the classification of what is subsumed. Within this there are three: first, generally revealing the profound and vast; next, from "The One Vehicle has two..." onward, separately explaining the profound meaning; afterwards, resolving objections. In the second, the phrase "shared teaching" means that although the two teachings—final and sudden—speak of one nature and one characteristic, having neither two nor three, they do not explain the perfect fusion endowed with virtues and phenomenon and phenomenon unobstructed, and therefore they are not the distinct teaching. Yet within the distinct teaching there are one nature and one characteristic, principle and phenomena unobstructed, and words and thoughts being severed, identical to those two teachings.
