11.55

疏「俱存雙泯」者，第三結成句數。俱存，謂正一攝他同己、廢己同他時，即是多攝一同己、廢己同一也。雙泯者，以一望於多二義，即是多望於一二義故，則一望於多二義泯矣。多望於一二義，即是一望於多二義故，則多望於一二義泯也。旨不異前，故令思之。

On the Commentary's "both preserved and both eliminated": third, concluding the number of propositions. "Both preserved" means that right at the time when the one assimilates the other into oneself and relinquishes oneself to be identical with the other, this is precisely when the many assimilates the one into oneself and relinquishes oneself to be identical with the one. "Both eliminated" means that because the two meanings of looking from the one toward the many are precisely the two meanings of looking from the many toward the one, the two meanings of looking from the one toward the many are eliminated; because the two meanings of looking from the many toward the one are precisely the two meanings of looking from the one toward the many, the two meanings of looking from the many toward the one are eliminated. The import does not differ from before, so one is told to contemplate it.
