14.41

疏「第三法界因果分明顯示」，文亦有四：一總標；二「亦有十義」下，別釋；三「此上五對」下，會宗趣，如舉在纏法界為宗，令得出纏清淨為趣，餘四例知；四「又上五中」下，結示法界因果之相，收前光統師。唯初一對是法界理實，餘皆緣起因果。

Regarding the commentary's "Third, clearly revealing the causes and results of the dharmadhātu": the text also has four parts. First, a general identification; second, from "there are also ten meanings" downward, a detailed explanation; third, from "these above five pairs" downward, harmonizing doctrine and intent, as in presenting the dharmadhātu entangled [in defilements] as the doctrine, making the attainment of untangled purity the intent—the remaining four are known by analogy; fourth, from "moreover, among the above five" downward, concluding by demonstrating the characteristics of the cause and result of the dharmadhātu, subsuming the former master, the Controller of the Monks Guang [Tongxian]. Only the first pair is the principle and reality of the dharmadhātu; the rest are all cause and result of dependent origination.
