16.50

疏「異類界等」者，即第八第九節也。上來七節但遍同類，八遍異類樹形剎等。而疏言等者，等取第九節異類剎塵，謂異類之剎亦以塵成，塵亦有剎，於中說經尤更多矣。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, 'heterogeneous realms and so forth,' these are the eighth and ninth sections. The preceding seven sections only pervaded the homogeneous; the eighth pervades tree-shaped lands and the like of the heterogeneous kind. When the Commentary says 'and so forth,' this includes the ninth section: the dust motes of heterogeneous lands. This means that heterogeneous lands are also composed of dust motes, and dust motes also contain lands, in which the exposition of the sūtra is all the more extensive.
