疏「經來未盡未必在後」者，破第五師。言未必者，容許後有，但不必定耳，如〈毘盧遮那品〉末，或〈隨好品〉末等。既不必有，故難取定。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, 'The sūtra's transmission being incomplete, it is not necessarily at the end': This refutes the fifth master. Saying 'not necessarily' allows that there might be something later, but it is merely not definite—such as at the end of the 'Vairocana Chapter' or at the end of the 'Chapter on the Minor Characteristics', and so on. Since it is not necessarily there, it is difficult to determine.
