19.24

疏「主伴有三」者，一迴向主伴，所修善根互相迴向，故今成佛遞為主伴。二同行者，同修禪戒等行。三二俱稱性，居然相收。

On the Commentary's "Host and companion are of three kinds": first, the host and companion of dedication (pariṇāmanā), wherein the roots of goodness cultivated are mutually dedicated, so that now having attained buddhahood they mutually serve as host and companion. Second, those of identical practice, who identically cultivate practices such as dhyāna and śīla. Third, both according with the nature, naturally containing each other.
