19.25

疏「謂佛德無邊」等者，釋為海義，即《金光明》意。彼經偈云「佛德無邊如大海，無限妙寶積其中，智慧德水鎮恒盈，百千勝定咸充滿。」即同海故。

On the Commentary's "Meaning that the Buddha's virtues are boundless..." onward: this explains the meaning of "ocean," which reflects the meaning in the Suvarṇaprabhāsa. A verse in that sūtra states: "The Buddha's virtues are boundless like the great ocean; / limitless wondrous treasures accumulate within it; / the water of the virtue of wisdom is always ever brimming; / hundreds of thousands of superior samādhis are all replete." Thus, it is identical to an ocean.
