From the commentary's "However, general and particular" downward: second is perfect fusion. It fuses the three meanings above: general and particular being perfectly fused fuses the first meaning; cause and fruit interpenetrating fuses the latter two meanings; and multilayered unimpededness runs through all three meanings above. For instance, just as the general contains the particular and the particular also contains the general, within a single liberation-gate there are all liberation-gates, and so forth; contemplate this. Regarding the commentary's "In terms of contemplating the mind": in the commentary, first it directly explains. Next, from "If taking the gate" downward, it clears away traces, first concluding in reverse; afterward, from "directly entering" downward, it directly concludes: subject and object both being quiescent is called "both obliterated"; the gate and principle being clearly distinct is called "directly entering." Directly entering means principle is completely tallied with; both obliterated means faults are completely stilled.
