Regarding the commentary's phrase “the ten powers subdue Māra, and the ten armies are all destroyed”: the Prajñāpāramitopadeśa, fascicle six, states: “Desire is your first army; sorrow and grief are the second army; hunger and thirst are the third army; craving is the fourth army; sleep is the fifth army; fear is the sixth army; doubt is the seventh army; harboring venom is the eighth army; gains and sustenance are the ninth army; clinging to false fame and self-exaltation is the tenth army, which disdains others. / Such are your armies; / all worldly beings / and all the gods / are unable to destroy them. / I, with the arrow of wisdom / and using the practice of samādhi and wisdom as my bow, / shatter your māra-armies / like an unbaked jar thrown into water.” Here, taking sensual desire as water, it speaks of it specifically. Regarding the commentary's phrase “a hundred hollows blowing diversely”: its meaning can be understood; the reference comes from Zhuangzi, chapter four.
