As for the commentary's statement, "It also reveals the places illuminated by the light in order to clarify freedom from views": the above was explained generally; now it is explained specifically. Causing one to leave behind erratic movement is precisely breaking through views, and knowing that the true dharmadhātu ought not to move is precisely revealing the principle. This phrase is entirely from the "Mañjuśrī Section" of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra. The sūtra says: "If a bodhisattva does not agitate the dharmadhātu, knowing that the true dharmadhātu ought not to be agitated, is inconceivable, and is beyond prapañca, such a one can enter all marks." As for the statement, "Because one comprehends without moving, superior cognition is accomplished": this line is the benefit of contemplation. Although all the verses equally express the differentiated virtues of the Buddha fruit, they all accord with the characteristics of contemplation; hence, it is called "knowing without moving," explaining that one will thereby accomplish superior cognition.
