疏「言法爾者」下，釋也，即為十段。今初，法爾。疏文分四：一正釋、二引證、三結釋、四解妨。初文可知。

Regarding [the passage in] the Commentary beginning with "To say 'dharma-nature itself'": this is the explanation, which consists of ten sections. Here, in the first, on dharma-nature itself, the text of the Commentary is divided into four parts: first, the direct explanation; second, citing proof texts; third, the concluding explanation; and fourth, resolving an objection. The first text is evident.
