疏「二酬宿因」等者，疏文分五：一標舉章門；二「何以」下，躡前起後；三「夫根深」下，摽因深廣；四「深大云何」下，釋成深廣；五「宿因雖多」下，開章別釋。於中，先標章、後別釋，可知。

Regarding [the passage in] the Commentary beginning with "Second, repaying past causes" and so forth: the text of the Commentary is divided into five parts: first, indicating the chapter headings; second, from "Why" onward, taking up what preceded to initiate what follows; third, from "Now, deep roots" onward, indicating the depth and breadth of the causes; fourth, from "How are they deep and great?" onward, explaining and establishing their depth and breadth; fifth, from "Although past causes are many" onward, laying out the headings and explaining them individually. Therein, first indicating the headings and then explaining them individually is evident.
