33.28

疏「令尋伺名等入如實觀」者，此借加行位中四尋伺觀、四如實觀以解經文。四尋伺者，一名、二義、三自性、四差別。今云名等，等取下三。

Regarding the commentary's "causing one to investigate names and so forth and enter into the contemplation of reality as it is": this borrows the four contemplations through investigation and the four contemplations of reality as it is from the stage of applied preparation (prayogamārga) to explain the sūtra text. The four investigations are: first, name; second, referent; third, intrinsic nature; and fourth, distinction. Here, when it says "names and so forth", "and so forth" encompasses the remaining three.
