33.67

第四說法甚深。疏「為一耶多耶」，此亦有三重問意：此上即直問所以。二云「偏取互妨」者，是第二帶疑問。由滯一多二途，不知何據。三云「並立相違」者，即第三成難問也。證一乖於說多，說多違於證一故。

Fourth, the profound depth of expounding the Dharma. Regarding the commentary's "Is it one or is it many?": this also has a threefold intention of inquiry: this above is directly asking the reason. The second, saying "taking one exclusively obstructs the other," is the second question carrying doubt. Because one is stranded between the two paths of unity and multiplicity, one does not know what to rely upon. The third, saying "establishing both concurrently is contradictory," is the third question presenting an objection. This is because witnessing unity contradicts expounding multiplicity, and expounding multiplicity violates witnessing unity.
