33.66

疏「輪王七寶喻增上業果」者，非在身內故。言「無來處」者，輪王登位，從空忽來。言七寶者，一輪寶，大如一由旬，或云四俱盧舍。三輪各減一俱盧舍。二珠寶，其狀八楞，大如人脾。三象寶，即金脇山中八千象中之最下者。四馬寶，即帝釋廐中者。五兵寶，即是夜叉。六主藏臣寶，即地神。七女寶，上即帝釋賜，下者人間或乾闥婆女。輪即北方天王令四夜叉持之，歸則在門之上一由旬住，帝釋所賜。若依此說則有來處。多是約教有殊，故小乘中說輪王歿後收在鐵圍山間。又有相似七寶，謂一劍寶、二皮寶、三殿寶、四床寶、五林寶、六衣寶、七履寶。如《智論》及《薩遮尼乾經》第三說。

Regarding the commentary's "The wheel-turning king's seven treasures are a simile for the fruitional effect of superior karma": because they are not within the body. Regarding "having no place of origin": when the wheel-turning king ascends the throne, they suddenly come from the sky. Regarding the seven treasures: first, the wheel treasure, as large as a yojana, or some say four krośas. The [other] three wheels each decrease by one krośa. Second, the jewel treasure, having eight facets in shape, as large as a human thigh. Third, the elephant treasure, which is the lowest among the eight thousand elephants in Mount Suvarṇapārśva. Fourth, the horse treasure, which is from the stables of Śakra. Fifth, the army treasure, which is a yakṣa. Sixth, the treasury-master minister treasure, which is an earth deity. Seventh, the woman treasure, the superior given by Śakra, the lower from the human realm or a gandharva woman. The wheel is held by four yakṣas commanded by the Heavenly King of the North; when it returns, it stays one yojana above the gate, bestowed by Śakra. If following this explanation, then it does have a place of origin. Mostly this is due to differences in teachings, and so the Śrāvakayāna teaches that after the wheel-turning king passes away, they are collected within the Iron Enclosing Mountains. There are also seven similar treasures: first, the sword treasure; second, the skin treasure; third, the palace treasure; fourth, the bed treasure; fifth, the grove treasure; sixth, the robe treasure; seventh, the shoe treasure. As explained in the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa and the third fascicle of the Satyavācanirgrantha-sūtra.
