34.14

疏「結成前難」者，此下亦有三重問意：初言「前難云智為上首」，及今非唯一法成佛，不合偏讚。今有偏讚，其故何耶？此直問所以也。二「為要假多」下，帶疑問也。三「若隨一得成」者，結成相違難也。

Regarding the Commentary's line: "Concluding the preceding objection": below this, there are also three levels of questioning intention: first, stating that "the preceding objection said wisdom is foremost," and now it is not by a single dharma alone that one attains buddhahood, so one should not exclusively praise it. Now there is exclusive praise; what is the reason for this? This is a direct inquiry into the cause. Second, from "must one rely on many" downward, it carries a doubtful question. Third, "if any single one brings accomplishment" concludes by raising an objection of mutual contradiction.
