疏「澄清四海」，喻上定也。「明鑒萬機」，喻上慧也。「戴恩仰則」，喻依賴也。

In the Commentary, "clarifying the four seas" is an analogy for the aforementioned samādhi; "clearly reflecting the ten thousand mechanisms" is an analogy for the aforementioned wisdom; "bearing benevolence and looking up to the model" is an analogy for reliance.
