34.27

疏「謂因道既一」等者，疏中有二：先釋文、後揀濫。今初，先釋總句，亦有三重問意：一直問所以，故云「云何現見」。二「為果異故」下，帶疑。三「若雙存」下，辨相違難。

Regarding the Commentary's line: "It means that since the causal path is single": within the Commentary there are two parts: first, explaining the text; second, eliminating misunderstandings. In the first part, it first explains the general sentence, which also contains three levels of questioning intention: first, directly asking the reason, hence saying "how is it seen at present?"; second, from "is it because the fruits differ?" downward, it carries doubt; third, from "if both are retained" downward, it analyzes the objection of mutual contradiction.
