34.31

疏「光明或色相不同」者，如〈十定品〉，或見如來放黃金色光，或見如來放白銀色光等。言「或常放具闕」者，釋迦則具，謂常光一尋，放眉間光照萬八千佛土等。若普明佛，常放光明無前後別，以常光故。

Regarding the Commentary's line: "Light or physical characteristics are different": as in the 'Chapter on the Ten Samādhis', one might see the Tathāgata emit golden light, or see the Tathāgata emit white silver light, and so forth. As for "or possessing or lacking constant emission": Śākyamuni possesses [both], that is, a constant radiance of one vyāma, and emitting light from between his eyebrows that illuminates eighteen thousand buddha lands, and so forth. In the case of the Buddha Samantaprabhāsa, light is constantly emitted without distinction of before and after, because of constant radiance.
