疏「由本願力為依救」等，即《瑜伽》。前意行以昔修故。言「由本行力為第一等」者，即第二意，果似昔因。既為第一，故是行果。

Regarding the Commentary's phrase "serving as reliance and salvation through the power of original vows" and so forth: this comes from the Yogācāra. The previous intentional practice was due to past cultivation. Regarding the phrase "being foremost through the power of original practice" and so forth: this is the second meaning, where the fruit resembles the past cause. Since it is foremost, it is the fruit of practice.
