疏「瑜伽菩薩地明」等者，疏文有二：先釋科文。行相之言，便引《瑜伽》明具五義，而行相為總，故為科目。

For the word "modes of activity", it cites the Yogācāra to clarify that it possesses five meanings, and since "modes of activity" is the general [term], it serves as the section heading.
