35.58

疏「答即上所引大集」下，第二答，中有三：初指前引答、二別引文答、三況出圓融。今初。謂上引《大集》，灌頂即第十住，故云「彼說住終」，則初賢已得八相，何得偏引《仁王》三賢無文。

On the commentary's "Answer: As cited above from the Mahāsaṃnipāta...": Second is the answer, which has three parts: first, pointing to the prior citation to answer; second, citing separate texts to answer; third, comparing this with the supreme perfect interfusion. Now, the first: What was cited above from the Mahāsaṃnipāta states that 'abhiseka' is the tenth abode; hence it says "that [sūtra] speaks of the culmination of the abodes." Thus, in the initial virtuous [stage], one has already attained the eight aspects. Why then cite only the Benevolent Kings [Sūtra], where the three virtuous [stages] lack such a passage?
