35.61

疏「況圓融門中不依次位」者，三況出圓義也。則上所引尚是行布，以四位成佛深淺不同故；今初即具後，故是圓融。今約信滿，猶寄終教說耳。

On the commentary's "How much more so in the gate of perfect interfusion, which does not proceed according to sequential stages": Third is comparing this with the meaning of perfect interfusion. What was cited above still belongs to gradual progression, because the four stages of attaining Buddhahood differ in depth. Here, the initial stage already completely possesses the subsequent ones; therefore it is perfect interfusion. Now, with respect to the fulfillment of faith, it is still provisionally explained in terms of the Final Teaching.
