疏「由於昔時以手持供供佛施人稱周法界」者，此出因也。供佛施人約其施行，稱周法界約其施心，入深觀故。

On the commentary's "Because in the past he held offerings in his hands, offering them to the Buddhas and giving them to people, universally matching the dharmadhātu": This reveals the cause. Offering to the Buddhas and giving to people relates to the execution of his practice; universally matching the dharmadhātu relates to his mind of giving, because he entered deep contemplation.
