38.2

疏「別中句乃有二」下，第二釋別句。於初句中分成二義，謂與法界等、與虛空等，是勝住處者，下論釋云「大勝高廣，一體異名，故彼經云『廣大如法界』。」

Regarding the commentary's phrase "In the specific phrases there are two..." and following: this is the second part, explaining the specific phrases. In the first phrase it divides into two meanings, namely: equal to the dharmadhātu and equal to space, being superior dwelling places. The treatise below explains: "Great, superior, elevated, and expansive are different names for one essence; therefore that sūtra says: 'Broad and great as the dharmadhātu.'"
