疏「非是自他共所作故」者，《中論．苦品》云「自作及他作，共作無因作，如是說諸苦，於果則不然。」自他等義，下當廣釋。

Regarding the Commentary's statement "Because it is not produced by self, other, or both": The Chapter on Suffering in the Madhyamakaśāstra states: "Produced by self, produced by other, produced by both, or produced without cause—though suffering is explained in such ways, regarding the effect, it is not so." The meanings of self, other, and so forth will be explained extensively below.
