38.73

第十住。疏「多同大盡分智成就說」者，大盡分則第十地八分之中第四分。此分有五種大，一智大、二解脫大、三三昧大、四陀羅尼大、五神通大。今經前五，即神通兼解脫大，即作用解脫故；後五攝餘三大，多同智大故，故智成就說。

The tenth abode. Regarding the commentary's statement, "Mostly spoken in correspondence with accomplishment in cognition of the Great Exhaustion division": the Great Exhaustion division is the fourth of the eight divisions of the tenth bhūmi. This division has five kinds of greatness: first, greatness of cognition; second, greatness of liberation; third, greatness of samādhi; fourth, greatness of dhāraṇī; fifth, greatness of supernormal powers. In the present sūtra, the first five are supernormal powers combined with greatness of liberation, being functional liberation; the latter five subsume the remaining three greatnesses and mostly correspond to greatness of cognition; thus it is spoken of as accomplishment in cognition.
