疏「梵依天行而得成」者，《涅槃》天行經文，不釋，指在《華嚴》。古人出體亦有二義：一指八禪、二即淨天。淨天即第一義天，見第一義梵行成矣，故梵依天行得成。

Regarding the commentary's "Pure practice is accomplished in dependence on heavenly practice": the text of the Nirvāṇa [Sūtra] does not explain heavenly practice, pointing instead to the Avataṃsaka. The ancients also had two meanings when identifying its essence: one pointed to the eight dhyānas; the second was precisely the pure heaven. The pure heaven is precisely the heaven of supreme meaning (paramārtha-deva); seeing the supreme meaning, pure practice is accomplished. Hence, pure practice is accomplished in dependence on heavenly practice.
