As for the commentary's stating, "'And so it is in all dust motes,' and so forth; such passages are not just one," "and so forth" includes the lower half-verse, which says: "The Buddha's body neither goes nor comes; / All lands clearly appear in it." This is the verse of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva from the fifth fascicle of the sūtra. As for "such passages are not just one," they pervade the entire sūtra; as the sixth fascicle says: "Vairocana Buddha's / Vow power pervades the dharmadhātu; / In all lands / He ever turns the unsurpassed wheel." It also says: "Within each and every fine dust mote, / He is able to realise all phenomena; / Being thus unobstructed, / He travels everywhere through the lands of the ten directions." It also says: "The Buddha utters a single wondrous voice / Heard everywhere in the lands of the ten directions; / All voices are completely contained within it, / And the Dharma rain fills all pervasively," and so forth. Such functions are immeasurable and boundless, meaning they may manifest as gathering sentient beings, or manifest as comportment, or manifest as the eight phases, or manifest in the forms of the triyāna, or manifest in the forms of the five destinies, or manifest as the realms of the six dusts. The differentiated names and functions are manifold and inexpressible; throughout the minutiae of the dharmadhātu there is nowhere they do not pervade, and hence it is called "pervasive."
